The Stories We Tell Ourselves

The stories we tell ourselves are just the beginning.

We focus intensely on that single narrative playing center stage in our minds. Our limiting beliefs, our explanations for why things are the way they are.

But what we don’t see are the thousands of invisible conditioned thoughts whispering from the darkness, making that story feel absolutely real.

This is the deeper truth about perception.

It’s not just the story that limits us, but the entire stream of unconscious conditioning that convinces us the story is true.

Why don’t we already know this? As Gurdjieff observed, “You can never awaken using the same system that put you to sleep in the first place.”

We can’t think our way out of thinking patterns that were formed below the level of conscious thought.

At my opening Perception Miracle training (beginning September 11th), we create a space to see this dynamic clearly, and open the door to a fundamentally different way of perceiving yourself, your leadership, and your reality.

Sometimes the most profound shifts happen not by learning something new, but by seeing what was hidden in plain sight all along.
