Presence Is Greater than Questions

My work over the past 15 years was born from asking new and better questions.

But here’s what I’ve discovered:

The most honest answers don’t come from the perfect question. They come from how we are being with the person in front of us.

When we’re deeply present and not lost in our agenda, not rehearsing what to say next, the truth emerges naturally.

We’re no longer asking from fear or a need to validate our self-image. We’re asking from a deeper awareness.

But this kind of presence doesn’t just happen. It takes inner work to free ourselves from the constant voice in our head and reconnect with something deeper.

This is the path of the inner leader. A path Dee Hock, Founder and CEO Emeritus of Visa, once said we would all need to travel in the 21st century.
